Adults, kids and adolescents can all benefit from the tangible exercises and pertinent information in this book, including myself! Sally Stevens brings forth a wealth of wisdom and experience with a positive approach in this easy-to-follow, interactive workbook. I wish I had access to this resource as a teen and cannot wait to share it with my family and community!

Where was this book when I was a teen?! Reading this book from the lens of someone who struggled with social anxiety during my teen years, I am amazed by how many aspects of the book I can relate to and how tangible and simple the strategies are. I liked how the author included definitions, examples, and practical approaches. The author also did a great job normalizing social anxiety and eliminating stigmatization. It is also worth noting that the book is well structured and easy to follow. As a current children's social worker, I would highly recommend this book to my teen clients who struggle with social anxiety, and even to service providers, teachers, other social workers who wish to learn strategies on how to better assist their teens. Overall, an extraordinary work book!

As a mother of an anxious teenager I have struggled to find resources that my daughter could relate to and that could help her cope with her anxiety. This book seems to be doing the trick however! The book is visually appealing (very important for my teens!), easy to understand and follow, and has a lot of activities to help her and other teens learn to understand themselves better and learn how to cope with stress and anxious thoughts.

I recommend this journal to any woman! I LOVE the journal quotes and prompts. I like how the questions are easy to understand and leaves room to write an answer on the guided lines. It moves from awareness to inspiration and than a plan! Tangible tools are helpful for me and this journal is simple and just that. I like the freedom of the curse words-I felt that they were purposeful and not just there to be modern.
